Mediterranean Way, a Spanish company specialized in the internationalization of the company and in the export of quality products, has reached an agreement with the Naturix Group to market its products abroad.

On February 26, the company Naturix Esteros Andaluces SL, belonging to the Naturix Group, obtained the first organic certification of oysters in Spain. The cultivation takes place in the San Francisco saltworks group, in San Fernando, in the heart of the Bahía de Cádiz Natural Park, a privileged area south of the peninsular coast.

Regarding the organic seal, as published in MisPeces, the certifying company is SOHISCERT, and the species in question is the Japanese oyster (Crassostrea Gigas). The validity of the certificate is from February 26 to December 31, 2019.

The company had previously obtained the HALAL badge, which enables them to be distributed and sold to Muslim oyster consumers in accordance with Islamic Law.

Both the organic aquaculture seal and the HALAL seal highlight the possibilities that still exist for innovation in the field of distinctive distinguishing features of aquaculture products.

These delicious delicacies, very demanded all over the world, but especially in Asia and the Middle East, will be exported and distributed from the next months by Mediterranean Way and by its partner, True Food Alliance, both with stable distribution in both geographical areas.

We are sure that, this way, we incorporate another great product to our portfolio, trying to meet the demands of the most demanding customers.
